Branding the Most Talked-About Series of the Summer
Contend was instrumental in forging the visual identity for the most talked-about series of the summer – Netflix’s Stranger Things. The collaboration began with Contend designing motion key art. During this process Netflix fell in love with a logo we created and it became the cornerstone of the show’s visual identity, eventually getting animated for the title sequence.
The key art for the series – featured on all Netflix platforms – is an illustration that was concepted and art directed by Contend, and executed by painter Kyle Lambert.
A social campaign we created for Facebook brought the story to life with custom graphics and video.
